Asus ME375CL (K00X) MeMO Pad 7 LTE AT&T

I renamed the GPS sample program and put it in the sources directory and compiled. Installed APK and it worked! Attaching machine specific info with CPUZ screenshots. WONDERFUL AND THANK YOU FOR THIS ON-DEVICE COMPILER!

Hmm 8-) interesting...

So it seems compiling on Intel chips does work, but maybe the APK is only usable on Intel chip devices??

Thanks for the info Jack!

Hi!

After compiling on the Asus x86 tablet, I uploaded the compiled APK onto my Dropbox storage. Then I downloaded it onto my stock AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5 phone with the latest AT&T updates. Then I installed the downloaded APK and it ran and worked without any problems. Good news and interesting at the same time. Let me know if you want me install anything or run specific tests, let me know.

I forgot to mention that I used an APK export utility to get the compiler APK from my S5 and then installed that APK onto my Asus x86 tablet. I don't know if that makes a difference. I couldn't install it from the store because it thinks it is not compatible with the tablet, even though it's licensed to me through my store account. Well, back to trying to learn the dsPIC33E architecture. As for my current bench experimental DSP lashup, I'll share a phrase from an old engineering friend of mine. This got used whenever the boss pressed for an update on whatever project had the team exasperated.

"How's it going? Well, it almost sorta maybe kinda works."

Spoken rapidly enough, it almost sounds reassuring.

Recap:
Your stuff: Works great!

My bench project: Well, it almost sorta maybe kinda works.
