Hi All,

I have uploaded a new game.
It's the oldfashioned Game of Goose, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_of_the_Goose

Some features:
1-4 players
Choose 1 of 4 languages, Dutch, English, French or German. (Yes, please, shoot at my poor translations...)
Sound on/off
Show the Rules or Game Status when it's a player's turn.

The source can be found here : http://laughton.com/basic/programs/games/GameOfGoose/source/GameOfGoose.bas
The APK can be found here : http://laughton.com/basic/programs/games/GameOfGoose/source/GameOfGoose.apk

And here are 2 screenshots.

Have fun, Aat.

Nice style exercice Aat 8-)
Very nice internationalization effort 8-)

The essential in this game being to understand the word "ok" in the 4 languages

Ooops sorry  I'm already in my garden to grow some leeks

Cheers

Gilles

Hi hi ;)

It's just a joke Aat : I am ashamed of what I wrote so I punish myself in my garden by taking care of the leeks or other... :) :) ;)

Cheers

Gilles

I played against myself and ended up in the 'PIT' on my first go, then watched my name fade into non-existence... Awwww...

:(

Very nice graphical techniques, Aat. Clever to be able to move around on a curved board! My ability to do trigonometry has gone "up the swanny" over the years...

Hi Mog,

Thanks!

There's no trig involved!
It's a simple lookup table.....(if you look into the source: the array Place[] contains the coordinate pairs)

Regards, Aat

Hi Roy,

Thanks!

In fact you already have this option.......
If you select 2 players and name one of them 'Android'......
Well, the opponent doesn't play unattended, but that's the only difference.

Regards, Aat.
