Hi Roy,

Yes the "New Way" was introduced around 25 years ago in our country.
The pupils were not taught how to use this simple method that seems natural to us.
The children were left to figure out their own way of doing simple arithmetic. They were also not properly taught/drilled for tables.
The only thing that mattered was that the child get to the correct answer no matter which way.
Our country followed the US in this regard. The US then soon stopped doing it for a reason but our country kept it "alive"
Same for the reading. "Flash Cards" is used where the child just have to recognize the word.
In my time we used to spell the word out.

Regards
Emile

Thanks for that Emile; I can see with only ever having dogs, Ive missed out on such a lot

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Google disabled the RFODESIGNER website for violation of Terms of Service.
I have done everything to try to solve a problem that does not exist.
This is ridiculous and I am considering my options.

For the interim I tried to create a new website at various other providers but they limit upload file size to 5Mb.
Thus new users would not be able to download anything for the moment until further notice.

If you badly need "RFOdesignerSetupV2000.zip" Then send email to therfodesignerATgmail.com

Hi Emile

Have you looked a jimbo. I do not know what the limit to upload file size is, but maybe worth a look

https://www.jimdo.com/?utm_source=jimdo ... %20webview

Could you not upload RFODESIGNER to the forums.

Regards Roy

Hi Roy,

I did try many web builder sites and that includes JIMBO.
The best one of them is YOLA but the single file size limit for upload is also 5Mb. Storage is very large though.

If you go back into the forum and see how much of your uploads to forum still exists then you will be very disappointed. Most of it if not all older ones are gone!

Google is in process of moving the Sites to a new Sites and I think they changed Terms that an EXE inside a ZIP is now no more allowed.
But they are silent and dont respond to my questions/pleas. Since I want a permanent place for RFODESIGNER that is free forever I am considering creating a new site on Google and upload all files to Google Drive. Then I only place a link in the website to the shared file in Google Drive.
I have already tested it and it seems ok.

Thanks/Regards
Emile

EXAMPLE : CUSTOM INPUT DIALOG

This is a custom Input Dialog with Custom Keyboard. The keyboard is not an Android one.
It consists of 3 images with the invisible TouchRect objects placed on the "buttons" to act as the touch regions.
The 3 keyboard images used was copied from phone screenshots and modified to suite the needs.
Operation is by touching the field to input ie "Lastname & Firstname". The Input dialog will then open.
Any existing text in the entry field will be copied to the dialog box to edit.
To capture the Dialog Box entry simply touch the round green "+button".
To return without capture - touch the phone's Back Key.
