What's XPsp3? How are you using it in that case?

Ah yes sorry, I thought it was a mix between an X (box) and a Psp3 ;)

Is this possible to use this with PC Android emulator such as BlueStacks? I'd prefer to do basic (pun not intended) testing on PC and only submit it to actual device for final tests.

//edit: Nevermind, it doesn't work. 100% sure both my phone and the computer is on the same lan, but it doesn't run. Having option to manually set ip and port for the phone would be great help as that "magic" solution failed in my case.

//edit #2: Restarted router and now it works. Still, would welcome support for BlueStacks as then I can test it when I don't have access to a phone or when using wifi or phone is forbidden (like on a plane).

Noticed bug when file is saved in UTF-8. It inserts weird character at the beginning of the file which makes Basic! freak out and makes program unrunnable. Had toi save it in ANSI to make it go away.

I find myself having to restart wifi connection constantly so the "magic" autodetect work. IMO option to manually specify IP and port should be provided. Additional advantage of this would be that you can connect to launcher in different network by specifying WAN IP address. Usable when you can't for some reason have both phone and computer on the same network.

Hi darkhog, in your use case there are better solutions than BASIC! Launcher indeed. Such as FTP, Dropbox, etc.
Read the whole topic for more information ;)

Hi gikam

If you are using NotePad++ it's Shift + F5.

if you are using Scite it's just F5.

The bas is copied to your device and then it is run.

On your second question the Launcher handles a classic client-server communication, so whichever device answers first to the UDP broadcast is served first. There will certainly be a race condition if you have 2 devices running 2 instances of the Launcher Android app...
