Yes I'm aware of this limitation. I already dug in the code but I didn't find where to fix this, it's rather low-level!
I did like addyish, I added empty lines at the end...

It sounds like the same problem we have in BASIC!, for example, with the Search screen, since KitKat.

extremely irritating... for some reason the save button doesn't always work, which makes it impossible to run. it will save fine and then i make an edit and its dead, button clicks, no save, try to run "must save before run" arg...

this is happening on my s5 and my transformer. :(

the humanity!

chris

edit: if i background it and pull it back up i am able to save, but if i hit the run button first, i have to back out again.

I sometime get the same problem as addyish, I’v found that if I add a space to the end of a line and then delete it, I can then save the file.

I'll look at it. I didn't touch this part, so this bug must exist in original 920 Editor too...

Whoa, I'm amazed, I have to admit that, aside from custom fonts, this is pretty much exactly what I was aiming for!

Hi there everybody this is my first post, and I enjoy Basic! immensely.

I find this is a most excellent editor for basic!

But I've noticed one or two quirks

Copy, cut & paste icons do not work on my phone (Motorola XT615 with Gingerbread) causing it to crash.

Prompting a crash report, who do I Email this to?

But they do work on my tablet (Kobo Arc 7 HD with Jelly Bean)

Tab with Swipe Keyboard on my phone only gives one space even though it's set to 4 in preferences.

Tab with Hackers Keyboard on my tablet works but with but wrong number of spaces?

Also, Save Icon works sporadically as others have mentioned.
