Hi PS,

920 Editor does not have a big maintenance team... only me ;)
You can send the report at Image

These are very strange bugs only seen on one model of phone (that I do not own) so I'm not very confident in finding a fix, except if the report is crystal clear :) at least I can try

Cheers
Nicolas

Hi again,
Sent crash reports for Copy, Cut & Paste (also Go to Line #, which I only just noticed) that I experience when using Icons in Toolbar.

Just wondering if you received them, since I've never sent a crash report from phone before and if so are they of any use?

By the way all other Icons in toolbar work as expected.

Also I can quite easily cut, copy and paste using swipe keyboard so if this problem is unique to my old phone please don't waste your valuable time trying to solve this.

The editor is a much easier way to use Basic! So, thanks.

@Sphinx I use Hacker's Keyboard as well, with the experimental full compact keyboard. I love it! Anyway, tab originally worked fine for me and then after playing around a bit, it stopped. As soon as I can recover 920 from a regex crash I'll see what I can find on that.

Edit: After playing around with Hacker's keyboard for a minute, I notced that the Scroll Lock key somehow effects whether or not the tab key is sent as tab or space. Hope that helps...

Edit: I know I saw something somewhere on syntax hilighting not working correctly on single-line comments but after looking at everything again, I noticed that everything works as it should in that area. If anyone sees anything please let us know. On that note, I've been tossing around an idea in my head to adapt the syntax libs of my favorite light-editor for pc Emerald Editor. If I remember correctly it allowed an arbitrary number of colors, but if not I'll just have to modify what we have.

Hi mougino,

I haven't physical buttons vol+ and vol- on my phone.
Is possible put "Full Screen" on the menu of 920 Editor?

Regards.

No. Early in this thread, you can see that Nicolas tried first to adapt Jota to BASIC!, but it did not go well.

There is a Jota syntax colorization file for BASIC!. I think the most recent version is for v01.80.
You can find it in this thread: http://rfobasic.freeforums.org/jota-text-editor-coloration-definition-file-t528.html.
If you like using it, perhaps you could update it for v01.89.

That discussion topic is in the "Shared BASIC! Programs" >> "Tools for BASIC!" subforum. There's a lot of good stuff there.
