but why a .tbs?

and why the first line "import class" ?

it's not a BASIC! program?

it's a placeholder text and i forgot that BASIC! uses "include" :P

.tbs will be used to distinguish between BASIC! and TooBASIC scripts, because TB inevitably will (not-)contain other commands to replace those which can't be implemented. APP command group will do nothing for example, meanwhile i might extend RUN to open files/executables too. other examples are SU and SENSOR.

Text mode anywhere you want on the screen in any color you see fit sounds like a way you can bend graphics mode! Pretty sure I've done that, but making it as simple as Turbo Pascal syntax of gotoxy(x,y) would take a little work. To me using arrays (one or two dimensions) in graphics mode really simplifies doing anything.

Apologies, I need some catching up, but apart from simple revision and bug fixes, what do you hope to achieve with tooBasic?

It all sounds very ambitious. Congatulations Evolbug!
