Hello Nicolas,
New 1904 update, still stops in same step, "Packaging KO!" , But
temp-unsigned.apk file, created in data folder.
Maybe this situation is useful for you...

Thanks You

Hi hamdiozkan

Step 6 of compilation is the aapt command to produce temp-unsigned.apk.

At end of step 6 I test for existence of temp-unsigned.apk (in data folder): if it exists I continue to step 7, adding binaries to this apk, if it doesn't exist I throw the error "Packaging ko".

So you're telling me sdcard/rfo-compiler/data/temp-unsigned.apk exists but yet I stop the Compiler because it doesn't exist ?

Nicolas

Hi mougino ,
it is exist but, i think folder path is little bit different,
because rfo-compiler uses my internal sdcard, and in my phone, folder path is different from you writed..

full path is ;
/storage/emulated/0/rfo-compiler/data/temp-unsigned.apk
;)

Hamdi

thank you for your support

Yes that is the same. "/sdcard" is a symlink to "/storage/emulated/0".

So we're really in a pickle!
The file exists but yet the program reports it doesn't.

How am I supposed to fix this?
I'm asking seriously. If you have ideas of tests tell me because this looks like nonsense to me :(

What does it say if you run the following in the BASIC! editor?
Code:
file.exists fe, "../../rfo-compiler/data/temp-unsigned.apk"
print fe

Hi mougino ,
console screen says ;
1.0

:)

maybe , i think, about creating time ..
between creating time and checking file exist situation time how much time ? maybe we need a little bit lag, or waiting, For file completeley created before checking.

Only idea..

thanx

This is a seqential language: checking the file happens after previous command (to create the file) has finished executing.
+Why would it work in all Android versions except Nougat ?? I don't see how a pause would help only for Nougat.

The command I made you run in the editor is the exact one the Compiler is running...
Compiler throws "Packaging KO!" if and only if the result is 0.0. But you showed the result is 1.0.

I don't know what's going on, it's really nonsense :(

Out of curiosity can you try opening "temp-unsigned.apk" as a zip in a file manager app? (or after copying to your computer)
Is it a valid or corrupted archive ?
