Hi Giks,

I had a look at your CSV object file and noticed you also treated the "SCREEN" as an object.
I also started that way and soon realized that a better move is that an object must be seen
as an obj with a "parent". Then the parent is a screen number. This opens the pathway for easier
management for Display Lists. Too a long story. Just trying to save you from a snake in the grass.

Regards
Emile

yes, my screen is like an object, since an obj structure is large enough to retain all the screen props. so no need for separate structure/file. 'screen' is the first and only screen object in the list (with the type and name 'screen'). I could add a new tag/property to the objects, to specify its belonging to a DL (parent/family). In BASIC there are not 'grandparents' yet, so it would work like that.
PS. afaik, the screen is just ONE object on a given device(ie, you can't have many screens in your app - as you do on a Windows app, with multiple forms).

I can suggest GDIPlus to render PNGs in BUIGen. There are others libs (FreeImage for example) but GDIPlus always worked good for me.

You can look for Jose Roca's headers, he did quite a lot for many different languages.

thanx
i think GDI+ is much more than what i need. So i found a simpler lib to use in my app. (see ver 1.4)

I send you the bui file; hope it helps

Yes, fixed !

A very, very minor issue.
I use two screens on my Win10 PC. Usually only the main screen is on.
Starting up BUIGen shows the window in between the two screens.
So I have to drag the window to the main screen, to completely see it.
It is no problem, don't hurry, but I have never seen this before.......

Regards, Aat.
