Yes I think it will be helpful for people that wants to create their own framework.
The link I gave have also source code header files that you can incorporate for png.

Hi RSA. i prefer another approach: there are free 'PNG aware components' which i can integrate directly in Delphi. just need some time to sort them out. Now i am thinking to (your idea) CSV objects export...
I will put another button in the main form: 'export as CSV'. is it ok?
giki

It is not OK. My BUI objects are not the same as RFO BASIC objects. Lets take an example: a checkbox consists of 6 RFO BASIC basic graphic objects: 3 rects, 2 lines, 1 text. Should i export all six of them? My objects table memorizes just one object of type "check"; all other (additional) objects (for RFO) are generated dynamically. ex: the 2 lines of the check are always black (property not settable/memorized/saved in BUIGen). Should i put this (lines/and) property in the CSV? The CSV should contain information about the RFO BASIC objects, or about the BUIGen objects? Should I export one (CSV) line with all properties for the 'check' obj., or should I export 6 (CSV) lines with the properties for each check components: 3 rects, 2 lines, 1 text? I told you, this is specific to the (generator) platform. Is the same way of asking, for example, let CorelDraw export graphical objects, so i can use them in MSWord or RFO BASIC. How, which CSV format? Corel's or MSWord's? (anyway, none has export/import graphics as CSV). (eg. CorelDraw has 'place inside container', MSWord does not.)
You chose the format, i'll implement it.

you do repeat the same calculation 2 times. Screen touch is executed before other obj touch. So you display the result of previously
values. You have more options:
little suggestions:
do the SUM only in 'updown_touch' or only in 'screen_touch'es
if using 'screen_touch' use the suggested 'canceltou=1' to avoid the summing again.
big suggestion:
please GR.RENDER if you want to see the result (after screen_touch). thanks
UpDown values are updated after ScreenTouch. So calculate and display the sum in updown events, or calculate and display the sum in screen_touch event and set canceltou=1 (as suggested, to avoid increments after display); don't add sum code in updown_touch. (How should the app know if, when you touch the screen, you want to sum/display the result or want to increment/decrement the value?)

OK
and as a good practice, i suggest, create a dedicated button for the sum, and no more messing screen touch with obj touch.

I can suggest GDIPlus to render PNGs in BUIGen. There are others libs (FreeImage for example) but GDIPlus always worked good for me.

You can look for Jose Roca's headers, he did quite a lot for many different languages.
