Hi folks,

http://laughton.com/basic/programs/applications/DataPass/

my start idea was to store all my passwords and other important informations w/o any cloud or other 'gaz factory' that are on the Android app stores.
My second idea was to use Nicolas's library GW.bas that had not yet looked.

- never did trust the computer.
- a copy of the database is done first.
- for the first use of DataPass you tap a definitive password.

- records are always sorted by date.
- a record must contain an object + at least one of the 3 other fields.
- you can manage categories.

Please say me if you discover some bug ! :ugeek:

Cheers

Gilles

PS: don't forget BEFORE installing the APK to place Fond.png and Soleil.png in the rfo-basic/data directory.
I gives some icons for those who want to re-build their own APK version in their language for example.

Hello

after dowloading a fresh copy of GW.bas (just to be sure of any new commands/functions) I ran your app from the source and got the following error message:

Bad control id: '22' in command GW_MODIFY().
Out of range (last control id is '0')

This appened:

- if I don't touch the screen (after I have entered the password)
- if I touch any button (except the 'Catégorie' button which give me a selection list contening 'Toutes' and 'Aucune'

I can't go any farther, no database seemed to have been created (or I can't find it ;))

Hi Fred,

the APK work fine because it have been created with the GW v4.4.

Please use the GW v4.4 for the moment.

Nicolas will solve this problem. ( http://rfobasic.freeforums.org/gw-v4-5-error-t4764.html )

Cheers

Gilles

Hi Gilles

Very good, love the colour schemes.

I can't do much testing because we do not speak the same language. ;)

Regards Roy

Hi Roy,

you're right, initially I was not sure to be abble to use the Nicolas's library GW so I wrote everything in french. I was also not sure to share my app.

But I think there are not so many words to translate though? You just need the app :)

Cheers

Gilles

Thank you for your answer Cassiope34.

I will check my tablet, hoping the GW v4.4 is still there

Forgot the previous message, I followed the link you provided above and saw the problem was solved.

I can now create a new /fiche/ and fill it with my datas but I have a little problem:
everything goes well when I fill the input box labelled /objet/, but the keyboard is closed/hidden when I press the third (not the first nor the second) key when I try to fill any other field. I have to re open/show the keyboard to fill the box and everything goes fine for it. The problem rise again when I try to fill an other zone or if I don't press any key.

In short, the keyboard is closed/hidden after a small amount of time.

Hi Fred, could you test with the GW v4.4 please ?
On my devices the keyboard appear and desappear at the right time et never desappear alone !?

I put some old libs here in case you need them:
